Official Rules for the Inter-Track Partners OTB
Road to the Derby Contest 2010

Have fun playing the 2010 Inter-Track Partners OTB Road to the Derby Contest (RTTD). The RTTD Contest includes 36 stakes races leading up to this year’s Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Racing programs will be available for RTTD races on or shortly before each race date at you local OTB. Be sure to study all the races so YOU can win money to wager with on Derby Day. This year, there will be one Grand Prize Winner – winner take all – for the entire system.

Rules on How to Play

You will use your handicapping skills to accumulate points on 36 racing events spanning 13 weeks beginning Saturday, February 6, 2009 and concluding on Saturday, April 24. You don’t need to play each event or every weekend, but the more you play the greater your chance of being one of our top winners. Each OTB facility group runs its own Contest and points do not accumulate between facilities. Players submitting more than one entry for a contest race, or entries submitted at multiple facilities will be disqualified from the contest. All winners must show identification to claim their winning prize.

For each Kentucky Derby prep race (see schedule), contestants have the opportunity to earn points based on the outcome of each week’s selected races. On each of the challenge days, you will pick a horse to win from the selected races and indicate it by name on the entry form at your OTB. Entries must be submitted by 2:00 PM or before the start of the first contest race on the day of the race(s). The entry form will be time stamped by the facility RTD administrator to guarantee accuracy. You will be awarded points if your horses finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

The top scorer in the entire system will win the Grand Prize of $2500. The top winner at each facility will be awarded $100.  The “entire system” is every Inter-Track Partner Off Track Betting facility. The Grand Prize Winner only wins the $2500, not the $100 for high score at their facility. All prize wagering vouchers will be valid for use only on the Kentucky Derby Race or any Illinois race at designated OTB Teller windows.  Prize wagering vouchers are non-transferable, non-cancelable, and redeemable only at the Inter-Track Partners OTB locations.

In the event that there is a dead heat, both horses will be awarded points for finishing in that position. Other horses will not move up into a higher placing due to a dead heat, i.e., a dead heat for first will allow both first place finishers to be awarded 6 points, and the third horse under the wire will only receive 1 point. In the event of a late scratch, your selection will become the post time favorite. In the event of coupled or multiple entries under one betting interest, i.e. 1, 1(a), 1(b), points will be awarded only for the actual named horse. Entry forms which are missing horse names or winning team selections or any other required information may be disqualified.

You must be 21 years or older and a Front Runner Gold Card Member to participate. All decisions are final and at the discretion of ITP management. Employees and immediate family members of Off-Track Betting and Inter-Track Partners L.L.C. are prohibited from participating. Winners are guaranteed, and in the event of a tie, the prizes will be split equally between winners in a given position. Contest void where prohibited.

Inter-Track Partners reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time for any reason. Inter-Track Partners also reserves the right to eliminate any contestant for not following the contest rules or fraudulent activities.
