Derby Winner, Big Brown will continue his quest to become the first horse to capture the crown in 30 years. Given his performance in the Kentucky Derby, we could be witnessing history in the making.
The Weekend begins on Friday when we open at 11:00am. You can make your bets for The Preakness, including the unique Pimlico Special/Preakness Daily Double Wager. The races from Pimlico begin at 11:15am on Friday and will feature the Pimlico Special Stakes as well as the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes for fillies. Enjoy great Food Specials including our delicious Italian Beef, $4 Miller 16 oz Bottles and Black-Eyed Susan Cocktails made with Woodford Reserve.
On Saturday our doors will open at 9:00am. Come early and enjoy the entire day with us. Pimlico’s first race of the day is at 9:30am . Pimlico is offering a $250,000 guaranteed Pick 4 beginning in race four and a $1,000,000 guaranteed Pick 4 beginning with their ninth race.
Reservations are being accepted for Gandorff’s Back Room and includes reserved seating and lunch in a private comfortable setting. For those just wishing to wager and go, we will offer a “Bet N Go” window right outside our front door. Post time for the main event is currently scheduled for 5:09 pm.

The weekend begins on Friday with advance wagering on the Preakness, but that’s not all. Doors open at 11:00 AM with a first post of 11:15 and the day is highlighted with three graded stakes from Pimlico, including the Black Eyed Susan (GII) for three-year-old fillies and the Pimlico Special (GI) for older horses.
On Saturday, doors open at 9:00 AM with live racing kicking off at 9:30. Walk up wagering will be available all day and reservations are now being accepted in person or by calling (847) 364-4122. Leading up to the Preakness, Pimlico has five graded stakes including the Dixie Stakes (GII), Gallorette Handicap (GIII) and the Maryland Sprint Handicap (GIII) as well as a full day of racing from Chicago’s very own Arlington Park. Post time for Arlington is 1:00 PM and the Preakness goes off at 5:15 PM local time.

The 133rd running of the Preakness Stakes takes place on Saturday, May 17th. The festivities will begin on Friday, May 16th at Oakbrook OTB with Pre-Betting Beginning at 11:00 AM.
On Saturday, Oakbrook OTB will have 2 walk up windows located outside the facility for guests to wager on the Preakness. For those guests who want to make a day of it, Oakbrook has all the amenities. You can dine in the restaurant with our special package. For $25, you can choose one of three entries offered and receive a free simulcast and watch the race from your own personal TV.
On Saturday, the doors will open at 9:00 am with 1st post at Pimlico starting at 9:30. Seating is reserved in the dining room but there are many alternatives to choose from.
