Joe Mazzone's Harness Pick
Balmoral Wednesday, March 10th

1st race

3-  High Esteem… Consistently in-the-money at this exact class all season long.  Gets overdue win.
5-  My Last Valley… Broke into the win column only for the second time in last 28 starts.
7-  Victor’s Speed… Goes in and out but his best race would be good enough to beat this kind.
1-  Margie Way… Often close and from the rail should be in line for a ground saving trip.

2nd race

1-  Royal Red Ivory… Led at every call before falling short in a needed race.  Benefits from the start.
2-  Chief’s Party Girl… Back in quick and fits well in against this mediocre field.  Best wins this.
4-  RC Schoolmarm… Bows at four and only making third career start.  Qualified ready to go.
5-  Maladar… Starting to build some confidence and a good trip away from winning a race.

3rd race

4-  Temperment… Won handily first time out for barn with a high win percentage off claims first time.
3-  LT’s Sporty Babe… Been struggling some but showing hints of breaking out.  Added striking range.
7-  Pacifically… Back in to go quickly in a top form again.  No surprise to see her win this outright.
6-  Third Easy Hotspur… Building confidence off a good trip and a solid second place finish.

4th race

1-  The Roman Conquest… All he has to do is stay flat to win this.  Looks that much better than the rest.
5-  Hemer’s Card Shark… Encountered all kinds of problems in his debut.  Tighter for new driver.
4-  Vivid Voltage… Makes the quick turnaround and fits again.  The wildcard if he throws his best.
2-  Come Home Honey… Solid effort in a start he figured to need.  Same early move may win this.

5th race

3-  KB’s Taylor… Third or better in five of six starts this year including a sharp win two races ago.
5-  Charlie Beans… Back from the Meadowlands where he was grossly overmatched.  Likes it here.
1-  Pride Of The south… Made a big sweeping move to gain the lead late before knuckling under.
2-  Gimmesummo… Steps up off a sharp maiden win and faces a competitive group of winners now

6th race                     Pick Four Keys  (6-9)  4-6 with 1-3 with 5-6-8 with 3-6  ($24.00)

4-  She’sabadbelle.. Back in to go quick and sharp as a tack right now.  The one to beat.
6-  La Bella Sophia… Okay third in a fast mile and now fits a little better off the class drop here.
2-  Happy Tears… Missed last sick but posted a solid second in second start out of this barn.
1-  Tootin Hanny… Back from the East coast and drops in class.  Only concern is the layoff.

7th race

3-  May Night… Seeks third in a row and seems to be getting better with each victory.  String along.
1-  Abrell’s Johnathan… Hasn’t been able to figure out the above yet but has been holding his own.
6-  Sand Soleil… Sat a rail trip and closed a little bit in a better effort.  May be coming into a race.
7-  Broadway Grin… Lightly raced five-year-old drops in cheap enough to make presence felt.

8th race                    Pick Three Keys (8-10)   5-6-8 with 2-3-6 with 1-6-7  ($27.00)

6-  One Red Flash… Used a couple of times in eye-opening effort.  Lands in a soft spot.
5-  Escape Trouble… Been due for a while now but can’t seem to find the winning edge.
8-  Sporty Levi… Shows good speed and may be able to compensate for the outside post.
3-  Dimitri One… A two-time beaten chalk after posting a nice win.  Has t prove self again.

9th race

6-  Southwind Morning… Third start on lasix and improving in each.  Fits well for new driver.
3-  Moochiesmoneymaker… Got to the top and was able to back it down and held on for a sharp win.
2-  Stohli Dohli… Improving second and may try to go down the road here at inviting odds.
7-  Electric Alibi… A god fit here but will have to raise her game a notch or two to take it all.

10th race

1-  Grand Freedom… Staged a huge rally to erase a big deficit in last start and now moves to the rail.
6-  Three n The Floor… Posted a sharp win here in last start and has some momentum right now.
7-  Jeremy Moon… Came back from a big deficit and closed strong in a losing cause.  Sure fits.
4-  KC Rudy Dud… Showing a big late move and likely improved striking position from this better post.
9-  Livewhatiubelieve… Back in quick and this field may not be as tough.  The post is a problem though.

TONIGHT’S BEST :    GRAND FREEDOM   10th race
VALUE PLAY:     SOUTHWIND MORNING  9th race
